At Home Macro Photography Ideas!
Around 3 years ago, when I first started doing photography, I had a hard time deciding on which lens to purchase to start off my journey in the professional photography world. After a couple days of ‘Ooooh I don’t know!’ and ‘This one! No, this one!’ I decided the 100mm f/2.8 was the best fit for me and I’ve never regretted the decision! The biggest factor in my decision-making was that the 100mm is also a Macro lens and I love macro photography.
What is macro photography?
Essentially, macro photography is extreme close-ups of your subject. The subject is usually, but not always, a very small object or animal and from a macro point of view looks larger than it’s true form.
Macro photography can be so intriguing and beautiful. Things you wouldn’t normally look twice at breathe new life with a macro lens! One of the best parts is that you don’t have to go far to make some fun macro photos! So for today’s By-The-Way Thursday, we’re going to celebrate Macro photography by showing off some at home macro photography ideas!Side Note: I was in a vintage mood as I was processing the photos.
